2025 Canadian Amateur Flag Football Rule Book

Max 12 players and max 2 coaches.

You will play a min. of 4 games. 3 round robin and then sudden death.

Boys, Girls, Men, Women, and University Teams. We run a 3 day tournament. Adults will play in the evening. Friday night lights format. University will play at non-conflicting times woith Adult, so players can play in both formats. Youth will play Saturday and Sunday between 8am and 5pm.

Age Categories: U10 to U16 A player’s age category is determined based on their age as of January 1, 2025. For example: If a player is 13 years old on January 1, 2025, they are only eligible for U13 or older.

Important Rules:

• A player cannot play on two teams within the same age category.

• Players are permitted to "play up" in an older division if appropriate.

• All youth ages will be verified by Football Québec.

Important Reminder: Any altered or falsified government-issued ID will be immediately reported to the RCMP for fraud. Falsifying ID is a federal offence in Canada.
